Why a Pair of Cocoons is listed as US$59, but in the reward tier it's S$81?
As we are Singapore based project, Kickstarter only allows backers’ pledges to be collected in our native currency - Singapore dollars (S$).
Singapore dollar is weaker than the US dollar. That is why on the reward tiers you will see these:
Pair of Cocoons > “Pledge S$81 or More” instead of US$59. 2 Pairs of Cocoons > “Pledge S$149 or More” instead of US$109. 4 Pairs of Cocoons > “Pledge S$271 or More” instead of US$199.
We have factored in currency rate fluctuations, and took the closest approximation possible.

When do I choose the size?
We will send you a CrowdOx survey before shipping where you can select the size of each Cocoon you’ve pledged for. We will you a survey right after you have placed your pledge and we do very much appreciate it if you fill it in! You still have time to think about - and change - your preferred size, as you can make your final choice in the survey we’ll send you before shipping.

I want to get more than 4 pairs for my friends and family. How do I that?
If you’re looking to get more than 4 pairs, thank you! You won’t be able to get extra sleeves at Kickstarter (unless you make a new Kickstarter account), but you will have the option to add more sleeves at the CrowdOx survey prior to shipping. Prior to shipping we’ll send you a final survey via a service called CrowdOx.
On the CrowdOx survey you’ll be able to update and upgrade your order.

What does Cocoon comes with?
All Cocoons come with a thermal carry bag, which lets you keep the temperature of the sleeve cold for up to 3 hours. So you can bring it along and kickstart your post workout recovery right after your session. Do note that the time of thermal insulation varies depend on the temperature and sunlight conditions outside.

How durable is Cocoon?
Cocoon is made from Medical Grade 100% leakproof membrane and covered in Multi stretch technical lycra as used in luxury activewear brands.
On the exterior, we have a seamless, reinforced pliable yet structural seam.
To the interior, we have a flushed overlocked stitch that makes Cocoon ultra durable while retaining it’s elasticity and performance.
As long as you do not drive over it, set fire on it, slice it in half. Cocoon will be with you for the coming years.

How do I clean them?
To extend the life of your Cocoons, hand wash them with warm water and gentle detergent if necessary. Lay them out to dry.
Alternatively, you can place them under the sun as Cocoon’s membrane is also bacteria and odor FREE.
Do not bleach, iron or machine wash them.

How do I find my size?
Simply grab a measuring tape and place it around four fingers above your knee. Make sure your leg is extended and relaxed, and read the cms/inches.

What if I’m in between sizes?
During our beta test, we found out that size M fits the vast majority.
Cocoon’s stretchable membrane is made to have a bit of give. If you’re an in-betweenie, size M gives you the range to comfortably wear on multiple body parts and allows you the freedom of movement.
TIP: Size down if you want that nice snug fit.

Can I wear my cocoons to sleep? It is dangerous?
Yes you can and it is not dangerous!
In fact, one of our beta tester worn hers to sleep, simply because she had forgotten she had cocooned up her knee.

Do you ship to my country? How much are the shipping costs and custom fees?
Shipping, Taxes and custom fees will be calculated and paid for in CrowdOx towards the end of the campaign. Prices do not include taxes for Non US, Canada, EU, UK and Australia backers.
That will be subject to the laws and regulations of each country.
We have tried to subsidize the import taxes and duties as much as we can.
Note that these prices are dependent on the situation, final order and global shipping rates when we get to the fulfillment stage. We make no money at all from shipping.

When will you ship?
We will ship the Cocoons in several batches and the estimated shipping date depends on the size of sleeves you have pledged for. We estimate to be able to start shipping Cocoons by mid-April 2021. We still have to bring it to production and will keep you updated on the progress here on Kickstarter. The sleeves are shipped on a first come first served basis and you will be informed about exact shipping dates when Cocoon rolls out of the factory.

What is your refund policy?
90% pledge back guarantee since Kickstarter retains about 10% of your pledge for various fees. You have 7 days after the campaign ends to receive a refund for the products you ordered on Kickstarter. After 7 days, we will start placing the POs for the products and will NOT issue any refunds or returns.

What is your return policy?
If you receive the wrong size, we appreciate the opportunity to replace or exchange it. Our exchange policy lasts 30 days from when your product arrived according to the tracking # we sent you. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused, free from dirt, dust or damage and in the same package and condition that you received it, you will be responsible for shipping it back to us.

What is your shipping policy?
If our shipping carrier attempts delivery and you don’t get it because you’re not there, wrong address, moved without notifying us, and the package returns back to our warehouse, you will be responsible for the shipping fees to have it resend to you.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

How do I update my shipping address?
